Love Waits
Deborah Anne Fisher
Murali Coryell: Guitarist on: 2, 3, 4, 7, 10. Rhett Tyler: Guitar on: 1, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11 (foot rhythm on 8). All tracks: Eric King: Bass, Jeremy Baum: B3/Piano, Erik Perez: Percussion, Little Sammy Davis: Harmonica on track 13, Mel Paskell: Recorded Engineer, Producer, Mix/Masterer.
While heading back to college as a single Mom and fronting the Dallas Fisher Band, Sullivan County Community College Advisor Cindy Bennedum suggested Deborah submit a one page summary to Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation on why she should be awarded a $1,000 scholarship. As a nationwide recipient, she used this money to make a dream come true in creating her debut CD "Love Waits". Fisher approached artist jam buddies from the Downtown Bar in Middletown, NY. The budget allowed two days to record at Lost River Studios with Mel Paskell in Wingdale, NY. Musicians received cassettes of the songs they were to learn, met in the studio for a brief rehearsal, and then recorded. Day one, they recorded half of the tunes with Murali Coryell and day two they recorded the other half with Rhett. Rhett Tyler and Murali Coryell lend their individual guitar styles in unique directions. All parties worked together in co-production efforts with Mel serving as executive Producer.
