“In response to Dallas Fisher Bands' version of Philp Baptiste's 1959 Hit "Sea of Love" ~ Wow! My siblings and I enjoyed your performance of our dad's golden tune! Very sweet and priceless! Music is an energetic golden miraculous messenger of sound and golden melody that translate feeling and mood over illusion, dream, vision and factual thought by time and moment vulnerably and logistically. Keep up the sweet tunes of our dad's golden music, lil kitten, and you sound marvelous!”
Deborah Anne Fisher ~ Dallas Fisher Band
Fisher’s musical journey began as an intrigued listener to her Lebanese Sithoo (Grandma) singing her traditional folk songs & Aramaic Lullabyes. On her seventh birthday she received a record player and listened to her first vinyl 45: Revolution by the Beatles. Her playground began by delving into her Mother’s remaining record collection (50’s compilations on 33’s and many others) & tuning into Sunday Morning Casy Casum’s Top 40 Countdown. Within a couple months, she composed her first silly song by ear, remembering the song melody & form by jotting down the lyrics. Growing up as the eldest of three sisters in single parent home, Fisher relished losing herself in the arts in various forms during her school years & had copyrighted 100 songs by high school graduation. After ten years of having a family, Fisher began the Dallas Fisher Band as Lead Vocalist, Self-Releasing the 1st of three Original CDs “Love Waits” which produced a favorable debut mention in Blues Access Magazine (one track below). Fisher’s fourth Cd: Just a Few Old Memories ~ was as a signed Artist to Wepecket Island Records (link below). Fisher plays as a multi-faceted Artist: Solo, Dynamic Less is more Duo “Fisher & Kean”, Folk Trio : Joshua Tree~link below,, Rolling Roots Revue (Wepecket Island Records Tour Group) & The Dallas Fisher Band.
